ILOILO CITY — Officials, veterans, and descendants of World War II freedom fighters gathered on Wednesday at the Balantang Memorial Cemetery National Shrine to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Panay, Guimaras, and Romblon from Japanese forces.
