"A vehicle was severely damaged from falling debris of 'intercepted Iranian missiles' in Israel's Petah Tikva on Wednesday. Footage shows the charred car as well as a tree trunk near the destruction site. "The moment we had the alarm, we went into the protected space. Right after that, there was a massive explosion here in the stadium area. At first, we didn't know what was happening," gym owner Shahar recalled. "I immediately ran to the place itself, saw flames, and thought someone was stuck there in the car. I brought a fire extinguisher, but saw it wouldn't be enough. We simply brought a water hose and started, of course, spraying the car. At the same time, I also called the police so they would actually arrive, evacuate, and do whatever is needed here together with the fire department," he continued. There were no reported deaths or injuries from the incident at the time of publication. On Tuesday, Iranian missile fragments struck multiple locations in Israel following a barrage launched from Iran, killing at least two people and injuring several others. The US and Israel launched strikes on Iran on February 28. Tehran responded with strikes on Israel and US assets in the region. The conflict soon widened, with Israel and Hezbollah trading strikes and explosions reported in many Gulf States. The escalating conflict has sent global energy prices soaring and led to the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which handles 20 per cent of global oil traffic."
