Aam Janata Unnayan Party will contest 182 seats in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections. The party founder Humayun Kabir announced the plan. AIMIM will be an alliance partner and contest around eight seats. Kabir will contest from two constituencies. He also challenged Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding her seat.
