"Argentine authorities announced the identities of 12 people whose remains were located at the former clandestine detention center La Perla, one of the repression sites used during the last civil-military dictatorship. Footage filmed on Wednesday in Cordoba shows the press conference at Federal Court No. 3, led by Judge Miguel Hugo Vaca Narvaja and attended by relatives of the victims during the official announcement. "We all knew that our relatives could be there. Finally, fortunately, we have reached certainty. Painful and regrettable, but it is a relief," son of Elsa Monica O'Kelly Pardo, one of the victims, said. The remains were recovered in recent excavations and were verified by the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team, which continues to play a key role in the search for disappeared persons. One of the families requested that the 12th name not be disclosed."
