Korean fintech platform Toss has launched a marketing competition aimed at expanding its reach among foreign residents in Korea, the company said Thursday. The program, titled “Toss Foreigner Bridge Crew,” invites participants to analyze the expat market and design practical strategies to attract new users and turn them into active customers. Selected teams will receive mentorship from Toss staff and test their ideas in real business settings. The initiative builds on the platform’s broader push to improve financial accessibility for non-Korean users. The company has introduced multilingual support and partnered with cross-border payments fintech SentBe to expand its overseas remittance service to 50 countries. It also allows users to issue administrative documents, such as certificates of alien registration and domestic residence reports, directly through the app. "The goal is to identify the pain points foreign residents face when using Toss and come up with ways to address them," a company representative said. "Participants may look to hurdles in the sign-up process or challenges
