Patna High Court granted bail to Janata Dal (United) MLA Anant Singh. He was arrested in connection with the murder of Jan Suraaj supporter Dularchand Yadav. Singh had won the Mokama assembly seat while in custody. The court's decision comes after the Bihar Assembly election last year. Dularchand Yadav was killed during a violent clash in Mokama.
