The Austrian Post AG plans to expand the parcel center in Wals-Siezenheim into one of the most modern logistics centers in Europe by the end of 2027. An investment of 55 million euros will be made for this purpose. Upon completion, the sorting capacity is expected to increase to 24,000 parcels per hour. Construction work has already begun, and operations will continue during this time.
