CAMALIG, ALBAY, Philippines — Local officials in Albay called off the holding of key festivals this year as threats of eruption by Mayon Volcano remain, coupled with rising fuel prices. The Pinangat Festival in Camalig and the Magayon Festival in Albay province have been postponed.
