"Israel's Oil Refineries in Haifa was struck by a missile fragment following the interception of missile barrages from Iran, Thursday. Footage filmed from a moving car shows thick smoke billowing over the oil refinery. Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen said that “no significant damage to infrastructure sites” was caused in the attack. The incident comes after Israel, on Wednesday, targeted Iran’s South Pars gas field, considered the largest in the world and a key energy lifeline for the country. In retaliation, Iran struck Qatar’s giant Ras Laffan LNG facility, which has wiped out 17 percent of the country’s LNG capacity and is expected to take up to five years to rebuild. Following the attacks, President Donald Trump said that the US did not know of the Israeli attack on the Iranian gas field and that there would be 'NO MORE ATTACKS' by Israel but insisted that the US would attack if Iran decioded to attack Qatar. The recent attacks on energy facilities are seen as a major escalation in the Middle East conflict, further driving up energy prices across the globe."
