First responders on site after 'direct missile strike' in Kiryat Shmona injures at least 4 people

"Emergency services and security personnel rushed to Kiryat Shmona on Thursday after Israel said a missile attack by Hezbollah on a residential building left at least four people injured. Footage shows Magen David Adom (MDA) ambulances parked outside the site, while some officers can also be seen arriving at the scene. MDA said two senior citizens sustained serious and moderate injuries, while the attack slightly wounded two men in their 20s. In a separate attack, Iranian missile shrapnel hit an oil refinery in Haifa, with authorities claiming 'no significant damage.' Tensions in the Middle East escalated after the United States and Israel launched joint military operations against Iran on February 28, while diplomatic talks had been underway aimed at curbing Iran's nuclear and missile programmes. Tehran responded by launching strikes targeting Israeli and US military sites across the Gulf region."
