Do you want to reveal the world map in Crimson Desert ? Pearl Abyss' open-world-adventure RPG takes place in a vast realm known as Pywel. The continent itself is filled with lush countrysides, harsh deserts, and frozen mountain peaks. Of course, you hardly know what's waiting for you on the horizon, so you probably want to understand the lay of the land first by ringing bell towers. Our guide has you covered, so sit back, relax, and get ready for a few spoilers along the way. Hernand Bell Tower You can reveal the world map in Crimson Desert by--believe it or not--ringing bell towers in various towns and settlements. There are eight of these in total, and they're all tied to the Pororin Forest Guardians faction . Here's the gist: Early in the campaign, your character, Kliff, meets a Shai child in the town of Hernand. You then rescue their cat, and you're told to find them later on. Now, if you look at your surroundings, you'll realize that a bell tower is nearby. Climb the tower and ring the bell. Once you do that, another Shai child will appear. They'll help you out by revealing various points-of-interest in the region of Hernand. From this point onward, you should definitely look for the remaining bell towers in other regions. Some might require you to advance through the main story first. Scholastone Bell Tower The Scholastone bell tower is at the end of the institute's promenade. You visit this town during Chapter 4 and can actually ring the bell fairly early. However, because there are other people around, the Shai child won't appear. Later, once you're done with the main objective, you can revisit the bell tower to trigger the cutscene. Note that Scholastone has its own research projects tree as well. One of the discoveries even lets you max out your health past the limit. Calphade Bell Tower The Calphade Bell Tower is near the church itself. However, the whole city is under the control of a hostile army. You need to complete the main quest in Chapter 6 to liberate the city. Pailune Bell Tower To reveal the northern part of the world map in Crimson Desert, you have to ring the bell in Pailune. Similar to Calphade, this place is considered hostile territory at first. However, once you're finished with Chapter 7, you should have no problems encountering the Shai child. Demeniss Bell Tower The bell tower in Demeniss is somewhat unique since you can't interact with it initially. Instead, you have to climb the massive tower until you're close to the top. Next, if you look off to the side, you should see the handlebars of the banners. Grab hold of the bars to pull them down automatically. This causes the large bell to appear. Delesyia Bell Tower Delesyia is in the southeastern part of the continent. The bell tower is in the town square near the other shops. Tomasso Bell Tower The town of Tomasso is smack dab in the middle of the Crimson Desert, which you won't visit until Chapter 9. That said, you won't actually go to Tomasso for any main quest-related activity, so just drop by there while you're free-roaming. Varnia Bell Tower You won't even step foot in Varnia until well after the end of the campaign, since this town is at the very edge of the map. If you keep following the road leading northeast out of Tommaso, then you should eventually arrive in the settlement. The bell tower itself is tied to a mechanism. Simply push the wooden lever at the top to get it to open like a flower bud. That does it for our guide on how to find the bell towers in Crimson Desert. Now that the world map has been fully revealed to you, you might want to tackle various activities, such as increasing your contribution/reputation rank and completing research works .
