LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Punjab, Azma Bokhari, has said that the Punjab government has successfully completed the Ramzan Nigehban Package, setting a new benchmark in public service delivery. She stated that the government has effectively achieved all three major targets, including the distribution of relief cards, establishment of “Maryam’s Dastarkhwans,” and Sahulat Bazaars. Azma Bokhari said that relief cards were delivered to millions of deserving individuals at their doorsteps, ensuring convenience while fully preserving the dignity and self-respect of white-collar and underprivileged citizens. She further stated that the distribution of this multi-billion-rupee Ramzan package was carried out with complete transparency. She highlighted that thousands of citizens benefited daily from “Maryam’s Dastarkhwans” for iftar, which reflects the pro-people approach of the government. According to her, under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, new traditions of service, facilitation, and transparency are being established in the province. The minister added that in the past, people had to struggle and face difficulties to get their issues resolved, whereas now the government and its resources are reaching directly to the doorsteps of the people. She said that Maryam Nawaz has instilled a true spirit of public service among provincial ministers and officials. Azma Bokhari further remarked that this is the transforming Punjab, where new standards of development and public service are being set—this is the real change and the true revolution.
