In another sign that the war he started is spiraling out of control, Trump on Wednesday evening accused Israel of failing to notify the U.S. of its attacks on Iran’s South Pars gas field, which prompted Iranian retaliatory strikes on a Qatari gas facility, roiling global energy markets. “Israel, out of anger for what has taken place in the Middle East, has violently lashed out at a major facility known as South Pars Gas Field in Iran,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
