MANILA, Philippines — A new record has been set for the most viewed movie trailer in history and that belongs to “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” garnering 718.6 million views in just 24 hours, according to its producer Sony Pictures as quoted on the IMDb website. The record topped the previous one set by another superhero movie, Deadpool & Wolverine, which had 365 million views during its first 24 hours online. It had also topped the trailer views of its predecessor, Spider-Man: No Way Home, which had 355.5 million views. “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” which stars Tom Holland, along with Zendaya and Sadie Sink, is expected to hit Philippine cinemas on July 29, 2026.
