MANILA, Philippines — Only one in three Filipinos, or 33 percent, said they are “very happy” with their lives, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey released Thursday, a day before the International Day of Happiness. The survey also found that half of the respondents (50 percent) are “fairly happy,” 15 percent are “not very happy,” and 2 percent are “not at all happy.” Conducted in November 2025, the nationwide survey interviewed 1,200 Filipinos aged 18 and above, with respondents evenly drawn from Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
