MANILA, Philippines — The legal battle over electricity distribution in select Davao areas may continue as the Northern Davao Electric Cooperative (Nordeco) can still block the takeover of its franchise areas by Aboitiz Power Corp. The Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association Inc. said Friday that Nordeco still “has the right” to pursue a temporary restraining order against Davao Light and Power Co., the distribution utility unit of Aboitiz Power.
