Pagadian City tricycle fare hike on hold pending fuel subsidy

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur— The city council has deferred any increase in tricycle fares as it awaits the release of a P5,000 fuel subsidy from the national government for drivers, Councilor Bienvenido Culve, chair of the Committee on Transportation, said. The Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) earlier sought a fare adjustment from P5 to P10, citing rising fuel costs.
