Games, Gigs, and Adrenaline: Inside Prague’s Cyberpunk Fun Arena

A new entertainment venue in Prague is aiming to combine gaming, live events, and high-energy activities in one place. Fun Arena Prague, located about a five-minute walk from the Opatov metro station, brings together multiple types of experiences under one roof. Set inside a raw, brutalist building, the venue is divided into several themed areas. One section focuses on arcade gaming, with more than 150 machines ranging from retro classics to newer titles. Another area, described as an “underground city,” offers a mix of unconventional activities, while dedicated indoor fields are used for paintball, airsoft, and Nerf games. The arena also hosts a rotating programme of public events, including concerts, theatre performances, quizzes, and community gatherings. Alongside that, it caters to private bookings — from corporate teambuilding sessions and conferences to birthday celebrations and stag or hen parties. Visitors can choose between passive entertainment, such as arcade gaming, and more active experiences. These include robot fights, axe throwing, and team-based activities. One of the more unusual features is HADO, a Japanese augmented reality sport where players compete on a physical court while launching virtual projectiles.
