Hundreds of small boat migrants are crossing the English Channel for the third day in a row, as criminal people smugglers take advantage of an improvement in the weather. Several French and UK border patrol vessels are responding to the sighting of up to five migrant dinghies. So far, one small boat has made it to UK waters and those on board are being taken to Dover aboard the Border Force vessel Typhoon. GB News estimates that at least 300 migrants are attempting the illegal crossing today. More than 4,000 Channel migrants have arrived in the UK since the beginning of the year.
