Himalayan glaciers are melting at an alarming rate. Ice loss has nearly doubled since 2000. This region holds vital ice reserves for Asia. A third of this ice is highly vulnerable to warming. Urgent action is needed to monitor and adapt to this unfolding crisis. Cuts to black-carbon emissions are also urged.
