CEBU CITY, Philippines — More than 250 senior citizens underwent interviews and examinations on Saturday, March 21, for part-time service crew jobs under a Cebu City government employment program. The initiative provides short-term job opportunities for older persons. It also reflects the city’s effort to include senior citizens in the workforce and address their income needs. A total of 257 applicants proceeded to the screening stage after attending an orientation earlier in the week on job roles, work hours, and qualification requirements.
