Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police ensured foolproof security arrangements for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers across the federal capital, deploying over 7,000 officers and personnel. A public relations officer told APP on Saturday that the largest Eid congregation in Islamabad was held at Faisal Masjid, where comprehensive security arrangements were taken place. He said all security arrangements were being monitored through Safe City cameras and modern technology to ensure effective surveillance and response. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi personally oversaw the security arrangements across the city. The IGP Rizvi extended heartfelt Eid greetings to citizens and police personnel, praying that Allah Almighty bless Pakistan with peace, stability and prosperity. He reiterated that Islamabad Police remained fully committed to ensuring the safety of citizens during Eid celebrations.
