Man who stabbed partner multiple times in head and neck to death, burned her body jailed for 24 years; WA Supreme Court judge condemns ‘relentless and brutal’ attack

Luke Hanif Sekkouah received a life sentence with a 24-year non-parole period. He brutally stabbed Erica Hay to death after an argument. Sekkouah then attempted to burn her body and the house. Hay's daughter was apparently present during the horrific attack. Detectives became suspicious due to Sekkouah's lack of smoke inhalation. He pleaded guilty to murder.
