TACLOBAN CITY, LEYTE, Philippines — Tingog party-list Rep. Jude Acidre firmly denied allegations that members of the House of Representatives were being bribed to support the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte. In a statement, Acidre called such claims “categorically false” and demanded evidence from those making the accusations. The Tingog lawmaker was responding to remarks made by Rep.
