Tens of thousands are expected to join the Prague Pride Parade this Saturday, August 2, as the capital marks the 15th edition of its annual LGBTQ+ celebration. The march will cause major traffic disruptions throughout the city center from 12:00 to 15:30. The parade will begin at Wenceslas Square, proceed through Prague’s historic center, and conclude in Letná Park, where the celebrations will continue with a music festival until 10:00 p.m. Drivers and commuters should prepare for road closures and tram rerouting across central Prague. Čechův most will be completely closed from 13:00 to 15:00. Revoluční Street will see tram and vehicle restrictions from 12:15 to 15:15. Additional temporary closures will affect Na Příkopě, Dlouhá, and Pařížská as the parade moves through. City police and emergency services will be on site, and over 100 volunteers will help manage the event and guide participants.
