VIDEO: Teenager Attacked at Prague Tram Stop, Police Asking for Help

Police in Prague are looking for a man who assaulted a teenager sitting at a tram stop on Švehlova Street. The attack happened in June. The man hit the teen in the face without warning, then continued to beat him before walking off with a woman. Security footage from the stop shows the suspect clearly. Police say the victim, a young man, suffered a ruptured eardrum and needed medical treatment. The suspect left the scene before officers arrived. The police described the attack as sudden and unprovoked. The man approached the bench, struck the teen in the face, and kept hitting him until someone from a nearby food stall intervened. “The victim was just sitting there. There was no argument, nothing. It happened quickly,” said police spokesman Richard Hrdina. “We’re asking the public to help us identify the man.” Officers believe the suspect and the woman he left with may still be in the area. They are calling on anyone who recognizes the man to call the emergency number 158.
