Dining Alert: New Michelin-Starred Restaurant to Open in Prague

After seven years and six Michelin stars, Israeli chef Gal Ben Moshe has decided to close his Berlin restaurant Prism and relocate to Prague.  Prism was more than just a restaurant; it was a small, carefully curated experience that invited no more than two dozen diners each evening. Moshe’s approach combined bold Middle Eastern spices with refined European techniques, reflecting both his heritage and his international training. Moshe’s career began in Tel Aviv before he ventured abroad, learning under prominent chefs in London and at Alinea in Chicago. The chef has trained under great chefs such as Jason Atherton, Marcus Wareing and Grant Achatz before moving to Berlin in 2012 to open his restaurant Glass. He was awarded 16 points in the Gault&MiIllau, and for his master craftsmanship and unique cuisine. He was also nominated for the Berlin Master Chef Award. He launched Prism in 2018, which quickly became one of the city’s standout food destinations. In recent years, Moshe balanced his Berlin commitments with a role at Pastel, a fine dining spot housed in the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. But sustaining two demanding kitchens across countries was challenging, leading to his decision to seek a new path.  ...
