Fishing boats distributed to Bicol provinces

LEGAZPI CITY – The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) 5 (Bicol) distributed 62-foot tuna handline fishing boats across various provinces in the region. Rowena Briones, BFAR-5 spokesperson, said this would improve the livelihoods of fishers and ensure an adequate fish supply. Each boat costs PHP7 million.
