Quezon City logs 56% hike in dengue cases

MANILA, Philippines — A 56-percent increase in dengue cases was recorded in Quezon City as of August 27 this year, the city’s health department bared on Friday. Dr. Patricia Anne Bonifacio from Quezon City Health said during a forum on Friday that a total of 7,201 cases were logged in the city from January 1 to August 27, 2025. “This year’s record is 56 percent higher compared to last year,” she said.
