Independent.ie Electric Picnic day 1: With 80,000 fans making it the biggest year ever, has the festival become overblown?
This is Electric Picnic’s biggest year yet, with 80,000 people having descended onto a field in Laois. It’s an approximate increase of 5,000 people compared to 2024 and an increase of ten thousand in 2023.
