"Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko arrived in the city of Tianjin on Sunday ahead of the landmark Shanghai Co-operation Organisation (SCO) Summit. Footage shows the leader descending the aircraft ramp, greeting the officials and receiving flowers. According to Lukashenko’s press service, in his speech at a session of the SCO Council of Heads of State, he will present Belarus' proposals on further advancement of multi-faceted cooperation inside the 'Shanghai family' and identify the key matters that require close attention. The 25th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO, chaired by Chinese President Xi Jinping, is scheduled to take place in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1. The upcoming summit promises to be the largest in its history. Leaders from 10 member states, 14 dialogue partners, two observer countries, as well as representatives of international organisations have confirmed their participation. Discussions are expected to include economic co-operation on technology, innovation and artificial intelligence, as well as issues of regional security and sustainable development."
