MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Camille Villar is pushing for the creation of dedicated breastfeeding centers in every barangay across the country to provide greater support for mothers and ensure proper nutrition for Filipino infants. Villar filed the “Barangay Breastfeeding Centers Act,” which mandates the establishment of breastfeeding hubs that will offer free guidance, access to breastfeeding materials, and information campaigns promoting the health benefits of breastfeeding.
