Marcos orders `sweeping revamp' of contractors' board amid flood probe

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to conduct a “sweeping revamp” at the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB), the government office that issues licenses for construction firms to be able to participate in the bidding of infrastructure projects.
