At least four people have been injured - two sustaining burns and two suffering from smoke inhalation - while hundreds of families were evacuated before the fire was brought under control. Homes made of wood, planks and plastic helped the fire spread quickly through the crowded hillside area. Interim President Jose Jeri called for 'immediate action' to assist affected families, announcing that the government had launched a multisectoral deployment to provide relief and assess damages."
