"Arab League leaders arrive for the Russian-Arab Summit in Moscow on Monday, October 13. The first Russian-Arab Summit is held in Moscow on Wednesday, October 15. According to organisers, the landmark meeting aims to outline new guidelines for co-operation in political, trade, economic, humanitarian, and other areas. Discussions are planned on international and regional security, as well as finding solutions based on respect for sovereignty, independence, equality and non-interference in the internal affairs of states. It will look at further strengthening mutually beneficial multifaceted co-operation between Arab countries and Russia, as well as peace, security and stability in the Middle East and North Africa. The First Russia-Arab Summit is attended by representatives of Arab League countries. The alliance has 22 member states throughout the Middle East and parts of Africa."
