Dismissed DPWH exec Alcantara sent to hospital due to chest discomfort

MANILA, Philippines — Dismissed Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bulacan engineer Henry Alcantara briefly left Senate detention on Monday after complaining of “chest discomfort.” Senate Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) Police Major Gen. Mao Aplasca disclosed this to reporters on Wednesday. “He complained of chest discomfort. So to check, he was brought to Pasay Medical Center for ECG and other confirmatory tests.
