AMLC freezes P5B assets linked to flood control mess – Hosaka

MANILA, Philippines — The Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) has frozen an estimated P5 billion in assets with regard to the flood control anomalies, according to Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) executive director Brian Keith Hosaka. Hosaka said this in a press conference on Thursday after the ICI met with the AMLC and other government agencies in connection with the bid to recover stolen assets from allegedly anomalous infrastructure projects.
