MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) late on Thursday announced that 4,570 out of 5,900 (77.46 percent) of examinees passed last October’s Physicians Licensure Examinations. The results were released four working days from the examination’s last day. The top 10 were: 1. Kharam Baricaua Molbog – University of Santo Tomas (91.17 percent) 2. Eris Orlan Sto. Domingo Muñoz – University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (90.67 percent) 3. Charles Jerome Reyes Bartolo – University of the Philippines-Manila (90.25 percent) 4. Jorel Franco Antone Navotas Tangpuz – Cebu Institute of Medicine (89.42 percent) 5. Zairah De Leon Monjardin – Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, Beatrice Hope Go Reyes – St. Luke’s Medical Center-William H. Quasha Memorial (89.25 percent) 6. Nathan Ross Baoy Bantayan – UP Manila (89.17 percent) 7. Judah Elijah Manticahon Cagas – West Visayas State University-La Paz, Johann Vincent Gan Lam – Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (89.08 percent) 8. Abigail Christine Dayata Sim – Cebu Institute of Medicine (89 percent) 9. Yousef Tahamid Naeem – Ateneo de Zamboanga University (88.92 percent) 10. Jarvin Vincent Chua Lumauig – University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (88.83 percent) Meanwhile, the top performing schools were: 1. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (99.05 percent passing rate) 2. University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (98.86 percent) 3. Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (98.44 percent) 4. UST (98.17 percent) 5. UP Manila (97.42 percent) 6. FEU-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (91.32 percent) 7. Saint Louis University (90.91 percent) 8. Cebu Doctors University-College of Medicine (90.10 percent) 9. Davao Medical School Foundation (89.12 percent) 10. Xavier University (88.99 percent) The recent Physicians Licensure Examinations were held on Oct. 4, 5, 11, and 12 at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
