DepEd-Davao is seeking approval from Secretary Sonny Angara for a proposed Mental Health Break for teachers, requested by ACT-Davao for October 27–30, following the twin earthquakes. ACT-Davao Union President Reynaldo Pardillo also demanded the suspension of the Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation (MPRE), arguing it's unfair to assess traumatized educators. DepEd plans to roll out psychosocial activities (storytelling, games) for students once face-to-face classes fully resume.
