LUCENA CITY–A magnitude 3.2 earthquake was felt in Occidental Mindoro early Friday morning, Oct. 17, with its epicenter traced in Paluan town. The tectonic tremor occurred at 5:28 a.m., 26 kilometers southwest of Paluan, at a shallow depth of 6 kilometers, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. Phivolcs said no aftershocks or damage are expected from the tremor. On Thursday at 7:02 p.m., a magnitude 3.9 earthquake also struck Santa Cruz town in the province.
