MANILA, Philippines — Over 3,200 passengers and truck drivers were stranded at 21 ports in Bicol, Southern Tagalog, Eastern Visayas, and Northeastern Luzon on Saturday after the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) suspended sea trips due to Tropical Storm Ramil (international name: Fengshen). Based on its 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. monitoring, the PCG said 3,239 passengers, drivers and helpers, along with 887 rolling cargoes and six vessels, were stranded.
