SAN FRANCISCO, AGUSAN DEL SUR—A magnitude 5.6 earthquake jolted Surigao del Sur on Saturday evening. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the offshore quake struck 23 kilometers southeast of Cagwait town at 8:31 p.m., with a depth of 20 kilometers. It was felt at Intensity 4 in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, and Intensity 1 in Davao City.
