Actor Lee Si-young, 43, has given birth to her second child, sharing the news with fans through social media. Lee posted a photo holding her newborn daughter Wednesday, writing, “I believe she is a gift from God. I’ll make sure Jung-yoon and Ssik-ssikyi (the baby’s nickname) live happily forever.” The birth comes about four months after Lee announced in March that she had divorced her entrepreneur husband. In July, she revealed she was pregnant through a frozen embryo transfer, saying, “During my marriage, I went through IVF treatment to prepare for a second baby. I decided to have the embryo implanted later, even though my former spouse did not agree.” Lee added at the time that she was fully prepared to take responsibility for her decision and raise the child on her own. Lee married a restaurateur in 2017 and gave birth to their first son in 2018. Her ex-husband, who initially opposed the embryo implantation, has since expressed his intention to take responsibility as a father following the pregnancy.
