Xolo Maridueña is preparing to set sail, as he was confirmed to star as Portgas D. Ace in Netflix’s live-action adaptation of “One Piece” season three. Maridueña’s casting was confirmed by the streaming service in a press release. The series’ third installment will begin filming later this year in Cape Town, South Africa. The Mexican-American actor will be joining “Oh, Mary!” star Cole Escola in season three, with the latter recently confirmed to star as theatrical assassin Bon Clay.
