TAGBILARAN CITY, BOHOL, Philippines — A total of 8,134 families or 25,775 individuals have evacuated to safer areas in Bohol due to the threat of Super Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-wong), according to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC). Data from the PDRRMC Command Center as of 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, showed that residents from 24 local government units (LGUs) conducted preemptive evacuations to avoid casualties.
