MANILA, Philippines — No major flooding happened in Metro Manila so far despite the heavy rains triggered by Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-wong), the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Monday.   “No major flood incident in the National Capital Region (NCR) was reported in the Emergency Operation Center,” the MMDA said in a Facebook post.   “Sharing wrong information could cause confusion and panic among the public,” it added.   MMDA made the clarification following circulating videos in social media showing several flooded streets in Metro Manila, which the  agency said are old footage.   Metro […]...
