TACLOBAN CITY — A total of 39,729 families, or 137,516 individuals, have been displaced across Eastern Visayas as Super Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-Wong) lashed the region with strong winds and heavy rains, according to a report from the Police Regional Office 8 (PRO-8) on Sunday night.
