MANILA, Philippines — Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon inspected various drainage, waterway, and flood control projects in Navotas City on Monday as Typhoon Uwan moved away from Luzon. Dizon inspected the Navotas Coastal Dike, which was affected by a strong storm surge during the height of Typhoon Uwan. The inspection followed a directive by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on assessing flood-prone areas in Metro Manila.
