Typhoon Uwan death toll hits 6 - NDRRMC

MANILA, Philippines — Six persons were reported dead due to Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-wong), the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Tuesday morning. Three deaths were reported in Central Luzon and one each in the Bicol Region, Western Visayas and Eastern Visayas. The NDRRMC added that 13 persons were reported injured while no one was reported missing.  A total of 2,358,476 individuals were affected by the typhoon, while 1,490,759 were preemptively evacuated.
