Over 3,700 houses damaged in Eastern Visayas due to Uwan, Tino

TACLOBAN CITY — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) regional office reported that over 3,700 houses were damaged across Eastern Visayas following the onslaught of tropical cyclones Uwan and Tino, forcing hundreds of families to remain in evacuation centers. As of the latest monitoring, the DSWD said a total of 226 houses were totally damaged, while 3,490 others sustained partial damage in various areas affected by the twin weather disturbances.
